The jaw-shaped 3D field of view captures the entire dentition — including third molars, sinus floor, and the full mandible — while excluding non-relevant anatomy. This means lower radiation dose without sacrificing diagnostic coverage. The very short ceph scan time of just 1.9 seconds minimises motion artefacts and keeps dose low, and no scout shot is needed thanks to VisionX's overlapping 5x5 FOV options.
Two integrated high-end CsI sensors — one for panoramic and 3D, one for ceph — mean there's no unplugging, no reconnecting, and no risk of sensor damage between modes. Simply select the programme and you're ready. Six dedicated cephalometric modes complement the 17 panoramic programmes included as standard.
